Graham Hood – Testimony and Ministry
Graham Hood experienced a profound transformation in late 2006. Once a suicidal atheist struggling with a debilitating pornography addiction, his life changed dramatically when Jesus entered his heart. In December 2007, on the same day, he was baptized and married to his wife, Michelle. Together, they witnessed God’s hand in their lives and dedicated themselves to serving Him and restoring hope to others.
Aviation Career and God’s Guidance
From a young age, Graham Hood dreamed of becoming a pilot. Despite leaving formal schooling at thirteen and acquiring a juvenile criminal record by seventeen, he overcame immense obstacles through perseverance and divine intervention. Over the course of a 53-year aviation career, he achieved significant milestones:
• Amassing 36,000 flying hours.
• Transporting 6 million passengers over 12 million miles.
• Performing 22,000 takeoffs and landings.
His career allowed him to serve as a captain at QANTAS Airways, where he flew every Australian Prime Minister and many prominent politicians, often engaging in meaningful discussions with them. In 2021, he resigned from QANTAS in protest against vaccine mandates, ending his career in aviation with integrity.
Founding Mission Serenity and Expanding Outreach
In 2007, Graham Hood and Michelle founded Mission Serenity, a ministry supporting adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Their ministry grew to encompass various initiatives:
• Developing Recovery Road, a Christ-centered 12-step recovery program, and training volunteers across the Pacific.
• Hosting the Recovery Road television series on 3ABN Australia.
• Launching Manhood Matters, a program empowering men to overcome addictions and grow spiritually.
• Establishing Church Without Walls, an outreach for individuals who feel too broken to attend standard church services. Operating for over 16 years, the ministry now includes an online presence at www.churchwithoutwalls.com.au.
•Conducting relationship boot camps that have helped over 400 couples build God-centered marriages.
Advocacy and Public Witness
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Graham Hood became a prominent advocate for freedom, opposing vaccine mandates and state-sponsored lockdowns. His advocacy led to:
• Addressing hundreds of thousands at public rallies, distributing The Great Controversy and Steps to Christ, and baptizing more than 300 individuals.
• Providing testimony to the Australian Senate regarding pandemic-related policies.
• Declining opportunities to run for public office, choosing to focus on God’s calling rather than political aspirations.
Upcoming Engagements and Vision
In March 2025, Graham Hood is scheduled to speak at the Will You Be Made Whole conference in Phoenix, Arizona, alongside leaders such as Dr. Ben Carson, Pastor Ron Kelly, and Dr. Peter McCullough. He will also join Dr. Conrad Vine for events in Australia in January 2025.
A Life of Service and Gratitude
Michelle’s miraculous healing just before their wedding reaffirmed God’s faithfulness in their lives. Graham Hood committed to serving God wholeheartedly, regardless of circumstances, and continues to honor that promise. With a deep sense of urgency, he dedicates his life to leading others to Christ, believing that now, more than ever, the world needs the hope and salvation found in Jesus.
To God be the glory.
